Everyday tools
Start with less.
A useful workspace does not need to be complicated. Keep the things you use within reach, give unfinished work a clear home, and leave enough empty space to think. A small, reliable routine is easier to maintain than a perfect system.
Notes on notes
Write for your future self.
A good note explains the context as well as the answer. Include the question you were trying to solve, the approach you chose, and anything you would do differently. Clear filenames and a short index make it easier to find that thought again.
On the web
A slower kind of browsing.
There is value in a page that does one thing well: a helpful explanation, a thoughtful photograph, or a carefully kept list. Save what matters, return when you need it, and let the rest pass by.
